A series of illustrations for DN Lördag, on the theme of the ways plastic waste has changed the planet.

Plastic is now so ubiquitous in every environment in the world that it can be found on mountain tops and the depths of the oceans, and by weight exceeds the biomass of all animal life combined. It may be impossible to reverse but is there anything we can do to stop the situation getting worse?
