Illustration for the Politiskt column in Vi magazine, on the theme of the housing crisis in Sweden. With a shortage of rental accommodation and the prohibitive cost of buying a property, and no political party seemingly able to fix the problem, young people are left in limbo.

I’ve always loved the aesthetics of Monopoly, and it makes for a useful metaphor for the inequalities of capitalism. My illustration is made with a pencil line combined with an acrylic painting.
